Fun can be any activity that makes you feel good.
Yes, for sure—drinking can be fun.
Smoking can be fun.
Hunting can be fun.
Fun is subjective.
What’s fun for you might feel like a chore to someone else.
You can find the fun factor in anything as long as you have the right mindset.
- For example, when I sit and stare at the sun during sunset, I lose myself, and believe me, it’s fun for me.
For someone else, it might just feel like a normal activity since the sun sets every day. - I feel liberated and incredibly good whenever I sit and write my heart out, but for someone who’s never written anything, it might just seem like another writing task.
- I feel great whenever I sit and write these articles and share them with the world.
Though my audience isn’t huge yet, I still do it because it’s fun for me!
Learning something new and sharing it with others is fun for me, and I’m sure it’s benefiting me in many ways, as well as helping my audience. - Some people love maintaining streaks on Snapchat, but I love closing the Move, Exercise, and Stand goal rings on my Apple Watch every day – that’s fun to me!
- Capturing and posting everything on social media while traveling is fun for some, but I prefer to get lost in the moment and enjoy it to the fullest, without the need for social validation.
- For some, bungee jumping is fun, while for others, it feels like a risky activity that’s terrifying to even think about.
- Watching cricket is fun for some, while playing it is fun for others. Some even hates cricket but loves football.
- Someone having four vodka shots and spinning on the dance floor might find that fun, while for another person, losing themselves while chanting bhajans and celebrating is their fun.
And nothing is wrong with that.
Fun is subjective, and that’s totally okay!
We all should embrace that we define our own fun.
We shouldn’t be influenced by the wrong expectations set by society.
Define your own fun according to your identity, needs, and availability.
Do what boosts your mood, not just what gets you likes on Instagram.
If you think only you are having fun (which, by the way, is a good attitude I’ll talk about it another time), know that everyone is having fun in their own way, and it doesn’t need to make sense to everybody!
How do you know if it’s fun?
– You’ll enjoy it.
– It doesn’t hurt anyone.
– It brings you joy.
– You feel good doing it.
– It’s a part of your identity.
You can make any activity feel fun by adding joyful elements to it, or you will feel like one more task.
Life is something we create through the tiny actions we take every day. So, embrace it, make it great, and make it FUN!
Hope this resonated with you! See you in next episode!

My Week in Pictures!
In this section, I share my week in pictures, for those who prefer pictures over text.
I view this part as a combination of journaling and a visual diary of my personal experiences. My days often follow a repetitive pattern, yet each experience brings a unique perspective.
I will try to update/replace this section with something fresh – Loading in Progress!
